1931 Ford Model A

The owner of this 1931 Ford Model A brought it in to have some engine work done on it. We replaced a blown head gasket on the engine.

We also discovered that one of the heads was warped while replacing the gasket. We ended up removing the head and had it resurfaced.

One of the exhaust studs was broken, so we fixed that as well. In order to do that, we had to take the manifold and intake off the side and weld a screw to what was left of the stud.

Then we were able to extract what was left of the stud out of the block. Finally, we replaced it with a new stud.
